Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic chocolate chip cookies with a soft center and crispy edges.

Ingredients:

  • 250g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 170g unsalted butter, softened
  • 150g brown sugar
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 300g chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla and eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated.

Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are still soft.

Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
