Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray
  • Your favorite wing sauce (optional for serving)

Instructions:

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This is essential for crispy results.

In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper.

Add the wings to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches).

Cook for 12 minutes, then flip the wings and cook for another 10-12 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

For extra crispiness, increase the temperature to 400°F (204°C) and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
